[Windows] How to force Vibrant Visuals on Minecraft Bedrock
- This mod is new and is not guaranteed to work.
- As of writing this article, the mod is confirmed working on MC v26.31
- This guide only applies to GDK version of Minecraft which is v1.21.120+
Let’s get straight to the topic.
Installation
Download the DLL file for the mod from th4llium’s GitHub
Download WINHTTP (ModLoader) from my fork
This is mainly because QYCottage one is at older release which doesn’t load config files.Press [Win] + [R], type in
%appdata%and enter.
You will see a folder namedMinecraft Bedrockif you have it installed.Inside the folder, create another folder named
mods, and move the ` vibrant-visuals-patcher.dll` inside there. Now move
WINHTTP.dlltoC:\XboxGames\Minecraft for Windows\Content(assuming you installed the game in default location)
Do not rename the file or else it will not work. Now everytime you start the game, Vibrant Visuals Patcher will be run automatically.
By default, the WINHTTP mod will bring up a console (log window) everytime you launch the game.
To disable this behavior, downloadconfig.inifrom my GitHub Gist by right-clicking the “Raw” button and selectingSave link asor whatever sounds similar.
Then put the file in the same place where you putWINHTTP.dll.
Uninstallation
You basically do ‘Installation’ but in reverse. Which means you delete the 2 downloaded files that you put in those specific locations.
If you can’t do it then please leave this article.
Have a good day!
